slimline? It's only been 3 days. patience.
anyway, I'm not planning on losing any weight. If anything I'd feel more comfortable putting on a stone or so.

Despite the early shift I wasn't feeling quite so shattered today. TH still made a point of doing the jobs that should have been done yesterday his way not the way he's been asked to (and I asked him to before I left). Boss says she'll have a sit down with him but I'm not sure she'll approach the issues I'm (well, we both are) having with him, she just wants to find out what his issues are, which isn't quite the same thing but I guess it's start. I had a reasonable vent about how disrespectful it is and that it's a quiet 'fvck you' to us all the time and how everything has to be on his terms and his terms only. She did remark how he (and all the others) would be in for the shock of their lives if they ever had to get a job somewhere else so she gets it. I'm just not sure she will actually call out the behaviour and the way he pushes back directly with him. She does agree that he has issues with being given instructions, as if it's a personal slight against him that he has to be asked (but that's a catch 22 so long as he keeps pushing back all the time).

Anyway, he fvcked off down the field (after an hour of slacking) so just the boss and me all day and we get along fine. Day ticked along nicely and the gym was quiet this afternoon.... everyone probably out enjoying the sun.

A: Hammer Row: per side x20, 30, 35, 43.25s x7, 5
B: Rope Pullovers: x81, 92.5kg x7, 6
C: Larsen smith: x25, 65, 85, 102.5x7, 6, 5
D: Stand DB Curls: x15, 17.5x10, 9
E: Face Ext: x26, 37+3kg x10, 7

Swapped it all about today and started with Larsen as the row was in use. Annoyingly I'd have only needed to wait 5 mins but the switch kind of worked, certainly to begin with, as Larsen press felt good and easily up 3 reps (1 per set). Hammer rows up 1 but I do need to watch form. It just about passed today I think. Pullovers were +1 too, warm up set felt sore but work sets seemed solid. Ext next, up by 3kg and easily went +1 on reps too, 1st set just felt easy. Biceps were so-so tho, not sure the reps were as clean as they should be near the end of the sets. Tough to keep tight as the shoulder and lack of supination makes them doubly awkward on the grinder sets.

I have felt shattered today, just didn't sleep well after the news that one of my best mates dies on Monday (had alcohol issues and eventually had the final seizure that his body could handle). And today tennis people winding me the fvck up (as they were yesterday), then TH winding me up at changeover already making excuses not to do what he should despite the boss and me speaking to him. He just thinks he has the last word in everything. Gym was alright tho, not earth shattering being a bit tired but respectable enough with that in mind. Got some combats and a top off vinted that arrived that turned out good, and a pair of trainers for Zach that are mint... air max but a mid cut, they're actually quite cool (but I am in my 50s LOL)

A: Adductors, high step: x40, 80, 100, +20kg x7, 5.75
B: Seat Ham Curl: 50, 65, 80, 95+Px 6, 5
C: Leg Press, padding: 80, 160, 205, 245x7
D: 5 sec stretch calf raise: 160, 190+P x6, 5
E: Pulley Forearm: 50x9, 7, 6 (belt squat)

Adductors started off feeling decent but in the end it was still a small fight to break even, almost +1 but couldn't close that 6th rep on set 2. Similar tale on hams, 1st work set wasn't amazing but seemed to get a solid +1 on the last set... altho I do need to make sure I get my arse back to illicit that stretch, think I crept forwards a bit so I may lose that rep again next week. Even stevens on leg press but I feel like that 7th rep moved a little better this week. Even on claves but a decent +2 over the 3 sets on forearms. Now I write it out it seems better than I thought.

Well, he rang his brokers up and got the price halved. Still not as cheap but I could tell he was apprehensive about a full switch on such short notice so told him to go with it. In fairness, I'd rushed thru the comparison form so the quotes I got may well have gone up a bit done properly.

Shoulder still ached like heck over night, but it does every night

I've seen the standard your hold yourself too with all the copper work, so I appreciate the quality you would expect from others. Better safe in that case LOL

Glad the shoulder was behaving mate. Again slight changes make a world of difference.

It’s good you are looking out for him in that respect. Maybe you should offer to review all the stuff he has or at least go through it with him. Might make things less stressful down the track too when you know what bank, utilities etc he is using.

LOL! Mirrors are the single best piece of kit in the gym!

I wouldn’t even let the fiancée paint the doors! They need to be perfect. It’s the thing I will see every day I come home and when we have visitors!

Well, hopefully.

mon 2th march
NG OH cable pulldowns: 50x10, x5, x5
rope grip facepulls: 40kg x5, x5, x5

awkward. keep coming off the bench at the start of the pull, expecially with the facepulls.
more volume less weight, I suppose.
