I think the NHS needs too go, its not fit for purpose. We should bring in private health care, that way people who are fat/smokers or people who just don't take care of themselves in general might might take their health more seriously.

About half way through that vid now, hes convinced its man made then let out by accident or a black operation.

I really really hope food will not be state controlled Doc, from what I can see it will mainly be fruit and veg. Why wouldn't it all all food though? Do you think it will be meat as well.

I live a simple life. As long as I have family, my wild venison and wine, weights and sports betting I am happy. It would will break me in three if the food went.

How is everyone on here doing? Are you lifting? I have my garage completely kitted out. Do you go for a walk?

then the state will have to come in and control the food supply or they will pretty much own and work with the major supermarkets in a monopoly.

On the bright side, we'll have less obese people

So likely will be having a break from commercial gyms for same reason unless she is happy for me to go

If you think staying away from work is a good idea, would it just be logical to think staying away from the gym would also be a good idea, and should that not be something that can be decided by yourself? why do you need her input? or are you hoping she will feel bad about you not being able to go and that she will give you the green light? just seems a bit shady.

Personally I do not think being up the duff is a reason so overly avoid getting the virus, better to get it now then when the baby is born I say.

its catch 22 , avoid it all you want and isolate yourself for months , it will just break out again when the curfews are over . After watching a few experts its not a good idea to get it while pregnant as it affects the lungs  and could damage the baby , better to get it after birth . But agree with you in some ways , longer we leave it the older we get and the more at risk we are , if its gona kill me id rather go now than stay cooped up for months.

I think this is the calm before the storm at the mo.

Dont be so skeptical doc. Have a watch of some of Dr Drews stuff on this. He’s updating daily and has consistently said its blown out of proportion. Saying the past few days they are finding success using various anti viral drugs, most promising a malaria drug called chloroquine. He does say be thinks France is going to be bad however due to smoking and them letting it get out of control.

We can't be sure if its blown out of proportions or not , id say its pretty bad either way , but we will never know the true stats as they aren't screening or testing ill people , how can we have a herd immunity when we don't know whether someone has had it or not , thats pretty dumb ! there will be thousands self isolating with colds who will probably be convinced they are immune . An antivirus is a pipe dream according to people ive been listening too , but yes some drugs have slowed replication.   But its definitely a global pandemic .

Glad i filled my cupboards up as the shops are empty.

Also thought BR would have been all over this one like a rash , if only they had watched game changers and listened to him  ;)

well it has been caused by people wanting to eat animals, just like bird flu, swine flu etc... seems like karma to me.

If they had the tech back then to get to the moon then they have have had a long time to study it and improve upon it.

This does not seem to be the case IMO.

I still dont think they can do it today.  Way way more complex than the shuttle missions and shed loads that can go wrong.

Yet they pulled the trick off many times with no loss of life (in missions).

What are the chances?

Exactly, They always say things like, in the future it'll be cheaper as tech improves. Landing on the moon should be the cost of an easy jet flight by now.

Apollo 11 left behind a retroreflector and Apollo 14 left behind 2 more. You can literally point a laser beam from Earth to the Moon and it will bounce back. Irrefutable proof that we went to the moon.

Doesn't surprise me that someone so stupid thinks we've been to the moon. but hey.

Glad you lot finally sorted it.  ;D
its a long way of sorted, another round of parliament blocks and **** poor deals me thinks

I can’t see anything being blocked in parliament. Borris has an 80 seat majority and all the conservative MP’s campaigned as supporting his Brexit stance mandate. I can’t see anyone rebelling and blocking it.

Personally I think they are turncoats, remainers wearing get Brexit done Tshirts, the only thing they will agree on is a deal that is Brexit in name only, I hope to be proven wrong . the first thing I can see is no deal being taken of the table and a poor deal to follow.
Well that's exactly the point isn't it, Boris Johnson is a staunch remainer, why have people forgotten that? He has absolutely no intention of us leaving the EU, it is, as per usual smoke and mirrors that everyone falls for.

I hope you are right, but I think you are extremely stupid and wrong

Yes you can do it by eating mountains of food and taking bottles of supplements but that’s hardly desirable to most.

I do neither of those things....so yea.

First 'anti-vegan' people were saying you'll start to go down hill after 6 months to a year on a Vegan diet, now they are saying, oh it'll take 5-10 years before you waste away and die lool.

My daughter is 2 years old and is doing fine of a vegan diet, and my son is 9 now and has been vegan since he was 6, and is also fine... so all this you wont be able to last very long on a vegan diet unless you eat bucket loads of food or take bottles of pills doesn't quite add up.

This man has his finger right on the https://twitter.com/thomassowell/status/1190648404453609473?s=21

“Activism is a way for useless people to feel important, even if the consequences of their activism are counterproductive for those they claim to be helping and damaging to the fabric of society as a whole.” - Thomas Sowell

If thats what makes you feel better then do what ever you like, I'll keep up my activism.

Other than consuming a plant based diet, what other activism do you partake in?

I've done many forms, but the latest was with Animal Rebellion (XR off shoot), I've also done Fur protests and London fashion week protest, which do actually work, since many high end fashion brands have now dropped the use of fur, just need to move onto the use of other animal skins next such as snake skin.

Good stuff.

What countries are the worst culprits for this kind of thing? Snake skin, fur etc? I was always lead to believe that the Asian continent was the biggest producer of this kind of thing?

I wouldn't be able to tell you, but yea I think Asian countries are the worst, but it surprisingly happens all over the world in many countries.
