I spoke too soon. It heated up fast.

I was soo looking forward to the storm and rain to cool things but it never came.

Been watching much of the Olympics? We are doing better than I thought at the start.
Of course, half Aussie Brett can claim both countries so he must be loving it.

On the sunny Bournemouth cost yesterday was certainly the muggiest day so far. Suffered in the gym yesterday lunchtime but feels better as I write this , half way through a back routine.

Of course, when I say gym, I really mean my garage...

Exactly that mate. Pretty much maintenance for a couple of months then decide at the end of summer. I haven't ruled out a final push in cutting to see what I actually have as I'm still not as lean as I would like.

Final week finished at just a tad under 175lb (79 kilo).

14 weeks cut

Lost 22lb or 10kg.

Average loss 1.57lb / 0.71kg

And it was all for a lads holiday to Portugal in 3 weeks time which I cancelled this morning 😁

Covid restrictions meant a rehash of our plans and I've now booked 6 of us to go to London for a couple of nights. Staying in Camden and doing a few things, gin tour, Airsoft shooting range and private booth in an outdoor screening of Euros Final. Should be a good atmosphere as Wembley is also hosting the final game down the road. If England get there we'll probably head over to Wembley after the game for the party.

**** news for your SiL mate.

The car loan issue is a bastard as well. I think fixing your current car and continue to save is probably the best way to go if your quotes are all going up that much.

I only have a mortgage and credit card (paid off in full each month) and managed to bag the advertised rate. Seems random.

Cheers fellas.

I've just been sticking to higher rep bodyweight squats 3 times a week. 4 sets of 35 are supprisingly taxing. Fronties could be the next step.

Back is fine for bench work as long as the arch is shallow.

To be honest it's non training where I need to watch it. Turning over in bed and getting out of bed often sees clicking and crunching. I always have to remember to move in installments rather than all in one go.

My 'relaxed' weekend eating hasn't hurt the scales as of this morning, I'm usually 3lb up on Mondays. 5 days left

90g whey split over 2 shakes
2 Huel shakes.

That's my daily intake FML.

Nice one, Billy... not officially applied but it gives me quite a high chance of scoring a low 4% loan. Back on track I hope

Fingers crossed mate.

Billy, we need some pictures mate.

You really don't mate.

I'm a short  (6ft  1) Peter Crouch who looks like he's actively avoided a gym all his life. It's depressing really.

It was through Cahoot via here

https://www.moneysupermarket.com/loans/

I'm sure you could bag 3.5% or less.

I've never borrowed apart from my mortgage until I took a short term loan for my car.

I took the max £20k for 3 years but with no penalty for early settlement. I settled a couple of months later when I had the funds released from something else.

It was through a company which are backed by Santander. Was about 2.8%. I'll try and see if I have the details and post them.

Quick update.

Back is 85% better now but squatting and deads are still a no no.

Cut is almost finished. I am giving myself 1 more week.

13 weeks in.

Start weight 197lb (89.4kg)

Currently 177lb (80.3kg)

Lost 20lb (9kg)

Average loss 1.54lb a week (0.7kg)

Foolishly didn't measure waist until late on. I've had much better success during this cut by training each body part twice a week at varying reps. I've lost 2kg on lower rep bench strength days and 2 reps on higher rep days which is awesome as my pressing ability dives whilst I'm cutting.
OHP and back work has held without an obvious loss.

My weight loss stalked 3 weeks ago. I added Huel to the mix and do 5 days liquid only which has really worked. To keep the loss going I have had to keep adjusting calories and they are now painfully low.

Currently eating 1150 during the week. Overeating by 1000kcal on Saturday and maintenance on Sunday. This seems to keep the fat loss going. I tried not overeating and that did more harm than good.

Very happy so far.

Get call not squatting with dodgy guts. We don't want a code brown situation on our hands.

Did they break you in gently in KM or did you just pick up where you left off?

Some great goals you have in mind. Just stay healthy. Goals and plans are great but listen to the body and if you need to take 1 step back to go 2 forward, do it.

Fantastic news on the Mrs mate. Proper scary stuff for all involved.

That Pic, holy cow your arms are insane.

On the car front, save as long as possible and get the best you can afford. It will be worth it in the long run.

So sorry about you Dad mate.

Hopefully you had a bit of time together while he was lucid. I'm sure he knew you were there with him.

Sending internet hugs bud.
